It was the last day of 2016. I had just left an event my friend Legacy put together for the homeless and I was crossing over from Overtown to Downtown when I spotted this beautiful voluptuous random demolition site. I love when this happens.

The other day I had a photoshoot scheduled with a model. We were to meet at my studio at 1pm. Then came the delays. Then came the call of excuses. Eventually she asks to postpone it for another day.

Two days ago I went on a spontaneous exploration in the early hours of the day. I rarely see the morning due to my nocturnal ways but this recent adventure opened my eyes to the many awesome things there are to photograph, if i just wake up early.

Much respect to Jose Navas for putting this documentary about the latin community and its influence toward the development and growth of Miami. As a filmmaker I understand all the time and effort it takes to put something like this together and I’m happy to see Jose and Flick House Studios putting this film out to the world for free. Not everything is meant to be sold, somethings are meant to be told.
